Monsters vs. Aliens 3-D !

Atticus went to his first movie! He was in awe at the size of the screen. The movie was in 3-D and he kept taking his glasses off to see if there was something really coming at him. Fortunately, besides Holly and her kids, Heather and Atticus, there were only 2 other people in the theater. He almost made it through the whole show, but then he decided he'd rather ride in Holly's car.

Josh ordained a priest

Josh was ordained a priest on February 1st by Grandpa Hansen. We were able to hold the ordination in the Stake High Council room with the whole priest quorum, Kenyon, our home teacher and the bishopric. The blessing was amazing. Grandpa emphasized the importance of the priesthood in Josh's life.

Ginger, Scarlet and Kort

Darren and Lori were generous enough to host our Hansen family party on
December 23rd.
We are all blessed to be part of such an amazing,
loving family.

We had a fantastic dinner and exchanged family gifts.
We also took turns holding Harper while she slept....through the whole evening.
Other highlights of the evening included....
Scarlet trying to leave with Ivy's doll, baby Karen.
Meadow practicing jumping off the fireplace to Alex.
Weston and his friend Chandler taking turns playing Weston's PSP.
Talmage sending Josh anonymous texts
from his secret, 2nd phone line.
Grandpa getting new temple shoes from the Utley's and Ence's....
they will get a great deal of use, very soon I'm sure.
Thank you D and Lor for being such great hosts!

Steel Days Parade

American Fork High School Marching Band
D...this one's for you!

Grace, Willow and Atticus.

Tyler, Meadow and Bentley....Tyler was holding Meadow's "tail" so she couldn't run out into the road.

Heather resting in the "shade."

Willow taught Atticus the real meaning of parade....collecting candy!

Summer just isn't summer without attending at least one parade. Last Saturday was the Steel Days Parade in American Fork. Ty and Jenn, Bentley and Meadow....Tal and Heather and Atticus....Holly and Willow, Weston and Grace all got to enjoy the heat and the candy. The Virchow's have learned in years passed to sit at the beginning of the parade route in order to get more candy and this year was no exception.
